Mandatory guidance for professionals, facilities, and emergency providers.
1. Qualifications (Medical staff)
Registration follows strict education and experience requirements:
- Education: Diploma to degree level (or higher) in Nursing, MD, or Clinical Medicine.
- Experience: At least 2 years of work experience is required.
- Verification: Independent professionals must provide certificates and an official letter from their institution for additional verification.
- Age: You must be of legal working age in Tanzania (18+).
2. Health facilities and ambulances
Emergency services and facilities:
- Registration: Any hospital must be officially registered with the Ministry of Health and relevant authorities.
- Ambulances: Providers must be recognized by the government and have sufficient experience in emergency response.
- GPRS: The facility must be ready to be tracked via GPRS for emergency coordination.
3. Professional ethics
Providers must follow professional ethics according to Tanzanian law and global (WHO) guidelines:
